
Program Information
Each slideshow program consists of photographs from Nature Pam's time in the park. The programs encompass the history, new discoveries, and personal experiences that she has found in each new location. They last between 40 to 50 minutes with time for questions during and after the program. Demonstrations, maps, artifacts and visual aids are used whenever possible to enhance the learning experience. Listed below are the programs in recommended order that are currently available.

Yellowstone: The Beauty of the Land
Explore the world's first national park! This park has more geothermal features than anywhere else in the world. The program looks into the science of the land features that make it so unique.

Zion: Unparalleled Beauty
View the gorgeous scenery while hiking the trails with Nature Pam and coming to understand the danger that lies within the boundaries of this small and very popular park.

Mesa Verde: A City Lost in Time
Mesa Verde national park is the first of its kind. It was created to "preserve the works of man." This program explores the best preserved cliff dwellings in North America, and the lives of ancestral Pueblo people who build them.

Yellowstone: Hooves, Paws and Claws
Yellowstone has the highest concentration of mammals in the lower 48 and is one of the few places south of Canada that black bears and grizzly bear coexist. This program takes a closer look at the amazing animals that make Yellowstone their home.

Sleeping Bear Dunes: Sandy Shores and Shipwrecks
This program divulges into the creation of the dunes, the hidden dangers of the Manitou Passage, and demonstrates the early life saving techniques of the United States Life Saving Service.

Badlands: The Colors of the Earth with
Devils Tower: Standing Tall
Journey through these two incredible parks uncovering fossils, hearing the lore, and revealing the facts about the creation of these geological wonders.

Grand Canyon: Magnificent Rim to Rim
with Meteor Crater: A Lasting Impact
Visit Arizona to learn how the Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater were formed. This program starts on the rugged north rim, then travels to the more developed south rim to explore its amazing architecture before moving on to visit the best preserved meteor crater in the world.

The Cold War: America's Longest War
See how our men and women in uniform protected us on the home front during the Cold War by traveling to two Cold War sites preserved by the NPS and explore the vastly different defense systems each employed.

The Everglades: Grassy Waters
Most believe the Everglades to be a scary, alligator filled swamp. This program uncovers the truth and beauty in this 1.5 million acre park.

Death Valley: The Land of Extremes
It holds the world record for the hottest place in the world, only receives a fraction of the rain a year that other deserts receive, and contains the lowest point in North America. Learn about this magnificent park and the interesting people who have lived and worked here.

Voyageurs: Islands of Wilderness
This program explores the rugged islands of northern Minnesota. From the early fur trade and logging camps that decimated the area, to the wonderfully unique people who saw their beauty and called them home.

New River Gorge: Aged to Perfection
This park boasts the oldest river in North America, preserves the West Virginian coal mining history, and is a gorgeous playground for today's visitors. This program flows through these ages to the park of today.

Mammoth Cave: Hidden Wonders
Mammoth Cave is the longest cave system in the world with human exploration of it dating back thousands of years. This program explores the formation of those caverns and uncovers the rich human history that has evolved within the cave.

Denali: Lost in the Clouds
Denali National Park has incredible wildlife, dramatic views, sled dogs, and the tallest peak in North America. This program explores one of Alaska's most popular parks.

Kenai Fjords: Icy Fjords
Kenai Fjords National Park is dominated by glaciers, mountains, and the animals that live in our oceans. This program takes to the water to tour this Alaska park.
